How do I know when it's time to come in for a checkup?

Although six months between checkups is often considered the norm, especially by insurance companies, some people need to be seen more frequently than that to maintain the best dental health. We make recommendations to our guests on the frequency of their visits based on what's right for them as individuals.

Because we know you have a busy schedule, we'll send you reminder notices, call or email you when you're due for an appointment.

I really do not like visiting the dentist, is there anything you can do to help me relax?

If you're nervous about your appointment, please let us know! There are many ways that we can help you feel more comfortable, including nitrous oxide during dental treatment. We also use the Wand, a new system that delivers local anesthetic without the pain of injection. We offer blankets to keep you warm, and headphones with a wide selection of music to keep you distracted. We understand that many people share your fears, and we will do everything that we can to ensure that your experience with us is a positive one.

Do I have to floss every day? Is it really that important?

A little regular flossing goes a long way, and is truly critical for your overall oral health. It loosens food particles in tight spaces your toothbrush cannot reach; it gets rid of plaque build-up toothbrushes alone cannot remove; and it exercises your gum tissues. All of which is necessary to avoid gum disease. So, just think of daily flossing as the finishing touch after brushing -insurance for your smile's future.
